3D Starstrike is an arcade shoot-em-up released in 1984 by Realtime Games Software for the ZX Spectrum. The game was created by Ian Oliver, Andrew Onions, and Graeme Baird, with cover art contributed by Oliver Frey.
The game utilizes vector graphics to provide a perspective 3D view of space combat. Designed for a single player, it supports control via cursor keys, Kempston joystick, or Interface 2, and is based on the original Atari arcade coin-op.
The game retailed for £5.95 on cassette. In addition to the ZX Spectrum, it was also released for the Amstrad CPC platform.
3D Starstrike received an average magazine score of 68.60%. It earned a Crash Smash award from Crash magazine and was named Game of the Month by Computer & Video Games.
The game was relatively obscure in Russia and never received official translations or TR-DOS versions. It circulated primarily as cracked cassette releases, and POKE codes for the game were featured in Micro magazine.
