The game is a single-player maze arcade title. It supports Kempston and Interface 2 joystick control schemes, as well as cursor keys. The software is based on the original licence from First Star Software Inc.
The cassette version retailed for £7.95. The game also appeared on numerous other platforms including Amstrad CPC, Atari 8-bit, BBC Micro, Commodore 64, Commodore Plus/4, MSX, NES, Acorn, Gameboy, GBA, and ColecoVision.
It holds an average magazine score of 81.80%. Crash magazine awarded it a Crash Smash with a 93% rating. The game was later converted into an arcade coin-op by Data East.
In the Soviet Union and Russia, the game became a staple of the platform. It saw dozens of TR-DOS releases, such as those by Graf'91, and received Russian translations by Valentin Ozerov and Kidson. The game was frequently featured in magazines with POKE codes and circulated widely via numerous cracked cassette versions.
