Designed for a single player, the game utilizes isometric 3D graphics and features an icon-driven control system. It supports Kempston and Interface 2 joysticks, as well as cursor control.
The original cassette price was £7.95. The game was also released for the Amstrad CPC platform.
Movie received an average magazine score of 85.75%. It earned several prestigious awards, including the Crash Smash, Sinclair User Classic, and the Your Sinclair Megagame title.
