Space Raiders was released in 1982 for the ZX Spectrum 16K. The game was published by Sinclair Research Ltd and developed by Psion Software Ltd.
This arcade shoot-em-up is based on the original coin-op machine by Taito Corporation. It supports a single player and features compatibility with the Interface 2 controller in the left port.
The cassette version retailed for £4.95, while the disk version was priced at £14.95. The game was also made available as a ROM cartridge.
Professional critics awarded the game an average score of 60%. It received a rating of 6/10 in two separate reviews published by Sinclair User magazine.
