Twister was released in 1984 for the 16K ZX Spectrum. The game was developed by Paul Shreeve and published by the National Extension College Trust.
It is a single-player puzzle game focused on problem-solving. The title was specifically designed to run within the memory constraints of the early ZX Spectrum hardware.
In Russia and the former Soviet Union, the game was distributed on both disks and cassettes. Several TR-DOS adaptations were created by groups such as SAW, Ascendancy, Paradox, and tiboh. Cracked cassette versions were also released by Atossoft.
